What an incredible night! From the very first note, the energy was electric. The live band was absolutely fabulous — tight, powerful, and full of that authentic Blues Brothers sound. The singers were just amazing, with voices that could fill the whole theatre and then some. Right from the start, they had the audience in the palm of their hands. Everyone was clapping, singing, and dancing along — it felt like one big party. It was brilliant to see the Empire rocking like that again, full of life, laughter, and great music. If you’re after a night of pure feel-good entertainment, this show is an absolute must-see!

I have to say, the music and cast were amazing with their singing, instruments and dancing. However i was extremely dissapointed with the AI generated visuals in the background! They were EXTREMELY cheap looking and completely ruined the environment. Garbled words to a womans head staying still whilst her body was turning around 360! It was completely distracting and unneeded. Just use background stills from the movie or photographs of the cast! I was expecting more from this show, maybe a story or small pieces of acting, but it was just the songs of the movies.

Very disappointed, I was expecting a theatre show but it was just some singers with the worst Chicago accent making boring dad jokes performing songs from the film. We left at the interval very boring indeed. What a waste of £115...
