You read that right. Blood Brothers ran for more than 10,000 performances in London's West End. That's like... a lifetime of standing ovations!
2. The Standing Ovation Musical'
 
It's officially nicknamed the Standing Ovation Musical' because, no matter how hard you try, you'll be on your feet clapping by the end. Consider it a mandatory workout for your hands and heart.
3. A Score You'll Never Forget
 
With a book, lyrics, and music by Willy Russel, songs like "Bright New Day," "Marilyn Monroe," and "Tell Me It's Not True" are little emotional earthquakes that'll make you laugh, cry and maybe even sing along out loud!

Former Spice Girl Melanie C took on the role of Mrs. Johnstone in 2009, becoming the first true Scouser to play the part, though Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten has also stepped into her shoes.

 Even though it's a West End legend, Blood Brothers has been performed all over the globefrom Europe to Australia, not bad for a show that was first created as a school play in 1982, developed in collaboration with the Merseyside Young People's Theatre.
